7HORSE: Double Summertime Tour featuring the music of dada
Horse is an American rock and blues duo formed in 2011 most notable for their song “Meth Lab Zoso Sticker” which was featured in Martin Scorsese’s film The Wolf of Wall Street, in the second trailer and on the soundtrack.[1] The group consists of Phil Leavitt (songwriter, drummer, and lead vocals) and Joie Calio (songwriter, guitars, bass, and vocals). Both are also members of the band dada. Some horses were always meant to run wild. Phil Leavitt and Joie Calio, the multi-instrumentalists behind 7Horse’s self-described “postpunk dystopian blues,” have been exploring unfenced territory together for 30 years. Kickstarting their partnership as members of dada — the platinum-selling alt-rockers behind ’90s hits like “Dizz Knee Land” — they now pack a different punch with 7Horse, blurring the lines between ’70s-sized rock & roll, Vegas showbiz glitz, and bluesy grit. It’s a sound rooted in groove and Gretsch guitars, rhythm and riffs, desert-rock crunch and cinematic sweep. A sound that nods to the best parts of the past while still pushing forward. 7Horse’s fifth album, The Last Resort, offers a snapshot of a boundary-breaking band in evolution. Since launching the band in 2011, Leavitt and Calio have saluted the glory days of American rock & roll both onstage and in the studio. Here, they make room for international flourishes, too. There’s the bilingual bounce of “Non Sono Un Ragazzo,” which finds drummer/frontman Leavitt recounting the band’s introduction to film legend Martin Scorsese (who memorably used 7Horse’s career-launching track “Meth Lab Zoso Sticker” in The Wolf of Wall Street) in both English and Italian. There’s the Latin beat of “Hey Vámonos!,” where flamenco guitars, polyphonic rhythm, and four-on-the-floor stomp all swirl together. BIO Mark Mulcahy is a singer from Springfield. He has released several albums and performs in the US and Europe. Mark composed the music for the Nickelodeon television series The Adventures of Pete & Pete with the TV band, Polaris. He has released several solo records, and made albums with the band Miracle Legion aand more recently Birdfeeder. He has written music for the films Management, Spring Forward, The Crush, and A Matter of Degrees. Mr. Mulcahy is featured in the Nick Hornby essay collection, Songbook. and been featured in Rolling Stone,The NY Times, Mojo and many others. He has collaborated on operas with Ben Katchor. CAPTAIN JACK & THE STRANGERS – A TRIBUTE TO BILLY JOEL
Captain Jack & The Strangers, comprised of six individuals hailing from Gloucester, MA (45 min north of Boston) with over 30 years experience in music and performance. The band is fronted by 25 year old piano phenom, Jack Favazza, who brings a youthful exuberance to this classic American songbook. This group plays a wide catalogue of music from America’s own Piano Man, Billy Joel, spanning his entire musical career from the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s. Playing both well known hits, alongside of b-side fan favorites, there are surely songs to appease any audience member. With a long standing passion for the music of Billy Joel, the band formed in late 2022, after founding members had seen a performance of Billy at the legendary Fenway Park in Boston, MA during the summer of that same year. That performance solidified the decision to perform Billy Joel’s music to as many people as possible. Gloucester has a long history of talented artists, and Captain Jack & The Strangers is no different. A local “supergroup” of musicians from well known acts such as Groove Therapy, The Spynz, Mystery Meat, and the Neon 90’s have formed this group to bring you the high energy, soft somber moments, and everything in between that Billy Joel is so well known for. Listening to any song at a show will surely invoke your favorite memories and emotions when you hear a specific Billy Joel song done in a way that only Captain Jack & The Strangers can do.

Billy Sherwood, Bassist, multi-instrumentalist, and composer. A highly respected as a Grammy nominated producer of iconic artists across countless genres. Besides his solo albums, Sherwood has been integral to a host of Prog-fan faves; Lodgic, World Trade, Circa: (Alan White & Tony Kaye of YES), Conspiracy (Chris Squire & Alan White), Yoso, Citizen, Prog Collective, and John Wetton’s Raised In Captivity. Billy is widely known for his work with YES. Chris Squire, bassist & founding member of the progrock legends, reached out to Billy after hearing his World Trade demos. YES’ album Union (1991) featured Sherwood’s first co-write with Squire. Billy subsequently mixed, or produced, several YES albums, becoming a bandmember by mid-90s. In 2015, an ailing Chris Squire asked Billy to take his place within YES as bass player. Squire’s trust in Sherwood to be keeper of the flame, was a testament to the friendship and respect Chris had for Billy. 2025 is the debut of Billy Sherwood & Friends, with YES drummer Jay Schellen, John Thomas on guitars & Scott Walton on keys. Jay’s inclusion continues a long musical history with Billy. The setlist features solo material, tracks from his various bands, songwriting collaborations, and of course, YES material. As a special treat for the fans, they will perform excerpts from Chris Squire’s signature album Fish Out Of Water. This tour as a musical adventure that runs the length of Billy’s wide and varied career.
