The Return Of the AMAZING ROYAL CROWNS

A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will go to the National Kidney Foundation. The National Kidney Foundation is revolutionizing the fight to save lives by eliminating preventable kidney disease, accelerating innovation for the dignity of the patient experience, and dismantling structural inequities in kidney care, dialysis, and transplantation. https://www.kidney.org   About the Crowns Equal parts Rockabilly, Punk Rock, and Rock N Roll, the Crowns exploded onto an unsuspecting Rhode Island scene in late 1993 and wasted no time in hitting the road with their raw, hyper-kinetic sing-alongs and their explosive live show. The self-described punkabilly band toured the world for the next 8 years. The Crowns often shared the stage with label mates Social Distortion & Reverend Horton Heat, as well as other artists like The Cramps, X, Tiger Army, Hank III, The Damned, The Specials, Dropkick Murphys, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, The Supersuckers, Rocket From The Crypt, The Misfits, and many more.   Throughout their career, The Crowns released multiple singles, EPs, and 3 full-length albums. They have recorded music on various labels (Sub Pop, Time Bomb, and BMG to name a few) and have toured the world numerous times. They’ve endured lawsuits, broken bones, accidents, and band fights all in the name of blood, sweat & grease, and they haven’t regretted a second of any of it. The Crowns are playing their first headlining show in New England since 2001, and they’re bringing back their annual Providence Payback festival at the same time! The Payback fest was a yearly event that the band would host at Lupo’s and the Met as a thank you to, and a party for their fans. The fest ran from 1996-2001 and featured many national and local bands. Always a fun time, expect to see various genres of music and maybe some surprises!

CabaRestle Is Vulgar and Beautiful

CabaRestle is as vulgar as it is beautiful when we come to The Met for the first time to pay tribute to punk. CabaRestle is a unique blend of pro wrestling, drag, burlesque, and live music that hits harder than the pit at a Gorilla Biscuits show. Our eclectic lineup of wrestlers features freaks and geeks of all sorts: a Broadway diva delivering show tunes and suplexes, a homemaker hell-bent on ultra-violence, a meta-human supervillain, an evil undead Egyptian mummy, the mean girls from your high school, a deathmatch king who feels no pain, and the local scene killers. They’ll be joined by an all-star lineup of drag and burlesque including: from Revry TV’s King of Drag, Henlo Bullfrog; host of Harley’s Funhouse and leading queen of the Worcester scene, Harley Queen; New England’s drag demoness, Vesper; your favorite final girl from hell, Thee Enigma Punk; returning from a performance hiatus just for CabaRestle,  Osceanna Rose; and the alt-fae girly of New England, Faelien Bean. Then get ready to make art with the musical guest, Basic Bitches, visiting from Brooklyn for one night only!Saturday September 20, 20258:00 PMThe Met1005 Main St #122Pawtucket, RI 02860
